ABOUT US MISSION: The Spokane Regional Task Force on Human Relations exists to address issues of racial and cultural discrimination by learning, action, leadership, and partnership within the Spokane community. Who We Are: A public non-profit organization, the SRTFHR is comprised of members from five major facets of the Spokane community. Our members come from a variety of areas within the faith, non-profit, education, government, and business communities in the Spokane region. Download: [Strategic Plan] [Organizational Development Plan] History: The history of the Spokane Regional Task Force on Human Relations is approaching its tenth year. Beginning in response to a critical incident in the Spokane community, the Task Force was initally organized under the name Spokane Task Force on Race Relations. Over the course of the last year, the organization has taken on the challenge of addressing more than just racial injustice and moved toward the overall inclusivity of all by changing their name to Human Relations. Organizational Structure: The Spokane Regional Task Force on Human Relations is an all volunteer driven organization. Our organizational structure includes a Board of Directors with members from the Executive Committee and the chairs of the Standing Committees, it also includes the general membership.
